The Icehouse Figure Skating Club is the home club at the Icehouse Sports and Entertainment venue at Docklands Melbourne. The Icehouse is the home of the Olympic Winter Institute
Our role is to build and promote the sport of figure skating in Victoria and Australia. Our aim is to make figure skating fun and exciting, and Victoria the powerhouse of figure ice-skating in Australia
Our Club provides streams for all ages, levels and forms of figure skating including
Our Programs - We have a junior and beginner program supporting the Aussie Skate levels including dedicated beginner competitions and skating events. The club is also focused on supporting the advanced figure skating levels with training camps, workshops and competitions assisting skaters compete in state and national events. Our dedicated adult program includes 3 synchronised skating teams.
Our club conducts fundraising to support our skaters, teams and competitions, training camps and workshops, and to run social events for our members. We also run swap meets in conjunction with our competition days for members to access preloved skating equipment.
IFSC members keep up to date on the latest news and information in the figure skating community through our facebook page, web site and regular emails. Members can also order the very popular club jackets.
Whether you’re a beginner or advanced skater, our club strives to make figure skating enjoyable and rewarding at all levels, improving your fitness and opening up a whole range of social networking.
Membership Cost - $30 Junior, Associate, Non skater, $50 Adult per year (renewed 1st Oct each year)
The club is affiliated to Ice Skating Victoria.

Our President for the past two years - David Cooke, retired from his formal position with the Club, and we thank David for his commitment and passion and we pass on our thanks and believe you will join us. Alan Hall, previously the Secretary of the Club, has taken up the busy role of President, and we are excited to advise there are 2 new members of the Committee.
